Why does the Torah use the double Lashon "ve'Im Shachov Yishkav Ish Osah"?
Sifra #1: To teach us that the man adopts the Tum'ah of the Nidah a. irrespective of whether their intimacy was a natural one or an unnatural one, and b. even if they performed only Ha'ara'ah. 1
Sifra #2: It includes a boy over nine in the current Halachah
As opposed to the Din where a woman lies with man who is a Ba'al Keri. Refer to 15:18:0.4:1 & 15:18:0.4:3.
What are the implications of "ve'Im Shachov Yishkav Ish"?
What is "Osah" coming to preclude?
Sifra: It precludes someone who is intimate with a Metzora'as, who does not adopt her Tum'ah. 1
See Torah Temimah, note 92.
What are the connotations of "u'Sehi Nidasah alav"?
Rashi: It means that, like the Nidah herself, the man (is an Av ha'Tum'ah, and) renders Tamei Adam and K'lei Cheres.
Shevu'os, 18b: The word "u'Sehi" implies that a Nidah is subject to Havayah
See Torah Temimah, note 93.
What does the latter half of the Pasuk, which is seemingly superfluous, teach us?
Rashi (in Yoma, 6b) and Rashbam: It teaches us that, although the Mishkav of the Nidah herself is Metamei Adam ve'Keilim, the Mishkav of the Bo'el Nidah is only Metamei food and drink. 1
Rashbam (citing Nidah, 32b):What is underneath a Bo'el Nidah (Mishkav) has the same Din as a Kli that is on top of a Zav (a Rishon le'Tum'ah),
