What is the significance of "l'Gabei Chomer Gabeichem?

Rashi: Your height will be like earth by Him. Gabeichem is like "va'Tivni Lach Gav."

Malbim: This corresponds to "u'Fachdo Yipol Aleichem" (11). You speak Remiyah amidst fear of his awesomeness, or fear of His punishment.
