What do we learn from "Shichescha Yisrael"?
Rashi: Yisrael, you wounded yourself, for you sinned and rebelled against your Helper. The verse is abbreviated. One who understands how verses speak, he understands the verse.
Radak: The calf mentioned above, it ruined you. If not for it, I would have helped you!
Malbim: You, Yisrael, are destroyed via Chayas ha'Sadeh - I did not do this. You destroyed your way, and thereby destroyed yourself!
Why does it say "Ki Vi v'Ezrecha"?
Rashi: Your rebellion was against Me. If you will say, what do I care? You rebelled against your Helper!
Radak: Your help was in Me, or My name helped you. Even though it says Bi, there is also the prefix Beis before Ezrecha. It is not needed, but verses speak like this - "Ki Shulach b'Reshes b'Raglav" (Iyov 18:8) is like b'Reshes Raglav. We find also two prefixes Kaf ha'Dimyon (even though one would suffice) - "ka'Eved ka'Donav" (Yeshayah 24:2), "Chamocha k'Pharaoh" (Bereishis 44:18).
Malbim: You think that [your destruction] depends on Me, because I used to help you. When I began to hide My face and not help you, you were destroyed. I caused this passively, not actively!
