What do we learn from "va'Yelech Achareihem (plural)"?

Malbim: They offered two Todos. Each has 10 loaves of Chametz. Five from each went with half the nation that went from left to right, and five from each went with the half that went from right to left. If one Todah went in each direction, it would have said Achareha 1 .

Perhaps it says Achareihem, for they went after Sarei Yehudah and one Todah! Verse 38 says "veha'Todah ha'Shenis" (singular)! (PF)
