What is the meaning of "mi'Pri Fi Ish Yisba Tov"?

1.

Rashi: From the reward of those who engage in Torah, they eat good in the world, and the principal is intact for the world to come.

2.

R. Yonah: This comes to arouse you to pursue Tzedek and merits regarding your lips and deeds of your hands. Your reward is very great for the former like for the latter, e.g. speaking in Chachmah, good counsel, strengthening Emes and speaking straightly. You will sanctify Shem Shamayim, return many from sin and take Nefashos 1 - "Mekor Chayim Pi Tzadik" (10:11). Now it comes to compare the portion of one who says Tahor words that do fruits of Mitzvah, and the portion of one with good deeds; they will divide together. This is like Chazal said about Tzedakah, that one who induces others to do (give) is greater than one who does (Bava Basra 9a).

3.

Malbim: The verse depicts man as a tree. A fruit tree, its fruit is primary. Man's fruit is in his mouth. Just like the choice power of a tree is its fruit, and this reveals its essence and benefit, so the power of speech and Sechel revealed via man's mouth is the fruit of the human 'tree'. 'Peh' in this Sefer refers to Chachmah. When one speaks words of Chachmah, his fruit comes out. People who eat his fruits are satiated. Also he is satiated; his Chachmah helps him get to perfection. One who lacks Chachmah and his mouth is closed in the gate (where they speak in Chachmah) is a barren tree. Man has two ladders to ascend to perfection - investigation and deed. Chachmah satiates himself; the Ma'aseh that he does with his hands - Tzedakah and Chesed - is what satiates others; they receive the good from him.

Since he returned them from sin, it is as if he acquired them, like "ha'Nefesh Asher Asu v'Charan" (Bereishis 12:5). (PF)

2)

What do we learn from "u'Gemul Yedei Adam Yashiv Lo"?

1.

R. Yonah: His sins will be returned on him.

2.

Malbim: Gemul is according to the Nefesh's excitement [when doing the actions] according to its Midos. E.g. one who does Tzedakah via arousal of mercy, grace or loving the recipient like himself, Hashem will return it to him according to his Midah. Hashavah is returning the same matter itself. Gemul and Sachar are giving something else in place of it. Hashem returns the same Tzedek that he gave to others, so he did not lack anything. The Pri of Chachmah, the body eats the Pri; the Pri of good deeds, he receives from Hashem as Gemul and Sachar.

3)

It is written Yashuv, and we pronounce it Yashiv!

1.

R. Yonah: The Kesiv hints to "mi'Pi Elyon Lo Setzei [ha'Ra'os veha'Tov 1 ]", "Ki Lo Anah mi'Libo" (Eichah 3:38, 33).

Magihah, based on Devarim Rabah 4:3: After Matan Torah, evil automatically comes on those who do evil, and good on those who do good.
