What is the meaning of "b'Fesha Sefasayim Mokesh Ra"?

1.

Rashi: Via the sin of the lips of Dor ha'Mabul, who said "Mah Shakai Ki Na'avdenu" (Iyov 21:15), an evil pitfall came to them.

2.

R. Yonah: An evil person is not trapped via a great affliction. He falls via a light happening. His mouth makes him stumble, and he is trapped via the sin of his lips - "va'Yachshiluhu Aleimo Leshonam" (Tehilim 64:9).

3.

Malbim: Lips represent external speech. Sometimes one does not speak with the mouth and tongue, only with the lips. I.e. he does not think well about what he says, just his lips move without understanding or Sechel. Sometimes his lips stumble and prepare a pitfall for him, e.g. he speaks in front of the king and says something improper without his heart, and he is caught in his words. Or, when he stands in Mishpat, sometimes he is caught through one word said without Sechel.

Why does it say "va'Yetzei mi'Tzarah Tzadik"?

1.

Rashi: Noach, a Tzadik, was saved from the affliction.

2.

R. Yonah: The Tzadik, even though the same trap befell him, and the affliction is close to him, he will be saved.

3.

Malbim: A Tzadik, who conducts everything according to Tzedek, his lips do not say anything improper - "Sifsei Tzadik Yir'u Rabim", "Sifsei Tzadik Yed'un Ratzon" (10:21, 32). Also when he is already in an affliction, he leaves it via his lips, which are prepared to speak according to practical Da'as.
