What does this Mizmor discuss?
Rashi: It discusses Hashem's praise.
Radak: It discusses contemplating Hashem's deeds, and always remembering His wonders and awesome Gevurah. He said it to engage in Yir'as Hashem and in Chachmah.
How is this Mizmor according to the Aleph-Beis?
Rashi: One letter at the start of each verse, and another in the middle (after the Asnachta). The same applies to the Mizmor after this. Radak - there are three letters in each of the last two verses, in order to complete the Aleph Beis. Every Mizmor that is according to the Aleph Beis, this was based on Ru'ach ha'Kodesh. Malbim - it shows their great importance, like Chazal said (Brachos 4b).
Why does it say "Hallelukah Odeh Hashem"?
Radak: He tells the singers 'praise Hashem - also I will!'
What is "b'Chol Levav"?
Radak: With all the intent in my heart.
What is "b'Sod Yesharim v'Edah"?
Radak: In the counsel of straight people, i.e. Yisrael - "Tamus Nafshi Mos Yesharim" (Bamidbar 23:10). They are straight in their deeds, according to the laws that Hashem gave to them. "V'Edah" is like uv'Edah. The prefix Beis in "b'Sod" applies also to v'Edah. I will thank Him in the counsel of Yisrael and in their congregation, for all will agree with me.
Malbim: B'Sod Yesharim are people of understanding, who understand Hashem's ways, matters of Elokus and its secrets. V'Edah is among commoners who elected to hear my words.
