What is the meaning of "v'Yesh Mehem Nashim va'Yasimu Banim"?

1.

Rashi: Some of them had children from their Nochri wives - they expelled everyone, the wives and the children.

2.

Ibn Ezra: Perhaps "va'Yasimu" means that they put their children l'Fi 1 Roshei ha'Avos, to take counsel if they should expel them or draw them close.

3.

Malbim: "Nas'u" above applies also here, as if it says v'Yesh Mehem Nas'u Nashim. It says va'Yasimu, and not v'Yaldu, for a Nochris' son is like her (he is not attributed to his father).

I.e. they will do as Roshei ha'Avos say. Or, perhaps the text should say Lifnei (they put them in front of Roshei ha'Avos). (PF)
