Is Ya'akan the same as Va'akan (Bereishis 36:27)?

Radak: Yes, just here his name is written with a Yud, and there with a Vov. 1

Radak holds that the Vov in Va'akan is part of his name. It is not a prefix, just like here it says Ya'akan without a prefix. (PF)
