Radak: Man will be afflicted in besieged cities. He will have minimal food and water.
What is the comparison to blind people?
Malbim: I afflicted them, and they did not open their eyes to repent to Me. They did not see that the reason for the affliction is because they sinned against Hashem. Therefore, the enemy will come against them a second time, and spill their blood like earth.
What is the comparison to earth?
Radak: No one is concerned for spilled earth. So their blood will be spilled greatly, without compassion.
What is "Lechumam"?
Rashi: Their flesh. In Arabic, flesh is called Lechem. Radak - this is like "v'Yamter Aleimo bi'Lchumo" (Iyov 20:23).
What are "Gelalim"?
Rashi: It is excrement.
