a Kohen is forbidden to marry a ger...this is why the halachah forbids the Kohen from taking a yefas toar in war, since he cannot marry her unless she converts and once the yefas toar converts the Kohen still may not marry her since she is a ger? and how does this relate, if at all, to the argument of Tosfos, Rashi, and Ra'avad ... and Rambam (as discussed in Insights to Sanhedrin 82)?

The above dispute relates to a Nochris only while she is still a Nochris. However, once she is a Giyores, she becomes Asur to a Kohen as a Zonah.
