DAF DISCUSSIONS - SHABBOS 97

David Schonbrun asks:

On Daf 97a Rashi expains the defintion of dmalei as being dark and therefore it is considered full. However, on Daf 5a Rashi explains the exact term as being full of air. Why does Rashi use differnet words to explain the term Dmalei domi?

David Schonbrun

The Kollel replies:

Rav Yakov D. HOMNICK addresses this difference in Rashi's words at length in his Sefer, Nachlas Yakov on Maseches Shabbos, vol. II, Siman 3. He offers a beautiful, encompassing approach.
