FOOTNOTES:
==========
(1) The Chachamim who argue with Rebbi Dosa, as recorded in a Beraisa not
quoted by the Gemara (Rashi 4b, DH Rebbi Dosa).
(2) Rebbi Dosa, following the view of Rebbi Chanina ben Antignos.
(3) This refers to a case in which the woman found blood at the *expected*
time. If she finds blood earlier or later, then all agree that she is Tamei
retroactively, me'Es l'Es.
(4) That is, she is Tamei retroactively 24 hours (with regard to all of the
Taharos that she touched).
(5) This is according to Rashi (DH Ha she'Ein). Tosfos (DH Ha), however,
seems to understand that that all of the Tana'im quoted by the Gemara
maintain that the four women are Tamei retroactively me'Es l'Es (see
Rashash).
(6) This applies to all of the cases, except for a girl under the age of
twelve who has never seen blood; she is completely Tahor, even if she finds
a stain.
