(1) That is, the person who was prohibited to the item exchanged the item for another item.
(2) Since he specified which fruits, by saying "these," he made them like Hekdesh to himself. Even the objects he received in exchange are prohibited.
(3) In such a case, the Chilufin are permitted. Even when one prohibited "*these* fruits" to his friend, their Chilufin are permitted (when someone other than his friend exchanged them). The reason is because the Chilufin are a "Davar she'Lo Ba l'Olam" (an item which does not yet exist in his possession) and a person is able to prohibit a "Davar she'Lo Ba l'Olam" only to himself (just like he is able to prohibit someone else's item on himself), but he cannot prohibit a "Davar she'Lo Ba l'Olam" to someone else (just like he cannot prohibit someone else's fruits on someone else).
(4) Rami bar Chama asks whether the Chilufin are permitted (since one cannot prohibit Chilufin with his Neder, see above, footnote #3), or whether they are prohibited due to a penalty that the Chachamim instituted for a person who transgressed and exchanged an Isur Hana'ah for another item (and thereby derived benefit from the Isur Hana'ah) -- RAN 47a
(5) When one prohibits the fruits to himself by saying "she'Ani Ochel," he does not prohibit himself from deriving *Hana'ah* from the fruits, but only from *eating* the fruits. Therefore, he has not prohibited exchanging the item for something else, and, consequently, the Chachamim did not institute a penalty (prohibiting the Chilufin) if he exchanges the item.
