Radak, based on Targum Yonasan: They crossed the Yarden and sent their property on boats (Lev Yitzchak - ferries) [to Ever ha'Yarden].

What is the meaning of "Al Mifratzav"?

Rashi: [Asher stayed to guard] the breaches of his land.

Mahari Kara: Asher's cities are open, for the sea is its wall. They felt safe, so they did not come to fight.

Radak: They did not come to fight, lest they leave their cities open.

4.

Targum Yonasan: [They dwelled in the] destroyed cities [of the Kena'ani, and rebuilt them].

5.

Malbim: Dan did not come; he did not feel endangered, for Asher dwells next to him; they will guard Dan from the enemy.
