Rashi: They were surrounded, like a crown surrounds the head. We find like this in Tehilim 22:13 and Chabakuk 1:3. Also Atarah (a crown) can refer to surrounding (Shmuel 1:23:26).

What is the meaning of "Hirdifuhu"?

1.

Rashi: They screamed to each other to pursue [Binyamin].

2.

Malbim: This is Po'el Yotzei li'Shelishi (causing another to act on an object). Via feigning to be stricken, they caused Binyamin to chase them.

What is the meaning of "Menuchah Hidrichuhu"?

1.

Rashi: By the cities where [Bnei Binyamin] rested, they caught them.

Radak #1, from Targum Yonasan: It is missing the prefix Mem. It is like mi'Menuchah Hidrichuhu (from where they rested, they caught them).

3.

Radak #2: In the place where they rested, they trampled them. This is like Dorech in a winepress.
