What is the meaning of "Mi Yiten Roshi Mayim v'Eini Mekor Dim'ah"?

Radak: If only my entire head were water, and it would flow as tears via my eyes. If only my eye were a spring of tears that does not stop (Malbim - so I could cry day and night. Doctors say that excessive crying dries the head, and the tears finish.)

Malbim: The Navi says that amidst his love for Yisrael, he wants to cry day and night over those killed. At the same time, due to hatred for their bad deeds, he wants to distance himself to the Midbar.

Why does it say "Es Chalelei Vas Ami"?

Radak: In Leshon ha'Kodesh, the one whom others cry over is considered the direct object, e.g. "va'Yevk Oso Aviv", "v'Livkosah (Bereishis 37:35, 23:2). The same applies in other languages. Since they cry due to him, it is as if he receives the action.
