Will he die b'Shalom? His eyes were gouged out!

1.

Rashi citing Mo'ed Katan 28b: It is called b'Shalom because Nebuchadnetzar died before him. As long as Nebuchadnetzar lived, his prisoners were not released. When he died, Tzidkiyah left jail, and the next day he died and was buried honorably.

2.

Radak: Since he will die on his bed, and not via the sword, this is called b'Shalom (Malbim - now they will be able to burn for him and eulogize him).

What is "Misrefos Avosecha"?

1.

Rashi citing Avodah Zarah 11b: The custom was to burn the king's bed and the killed that he used when he died.

2.

Radak: They burn fragrances and mixed herbs on their beds, like it says about Asa (Divrei ha'Yamim II, 16:13-14).

3)

Why does it say "Ki Davar Ani Dibarti"?

1.

Radak: Since I said this, you know that it will be fulfilled. Malbim - Hashem's word for the good is never retracted.

2.

Malbim #1: Normally, they should have killed you for transgressing your Shevu'ah [to Nebuchadnetzar]. You will be saved from death, because I spoke.
