Radak: Since You made them, it is not possible that anything done in them will be hidden from You. If the city will be give to the Bavliyim, You knew! Why would You tell me to buy the field if the city will be conquered soon 1 ? Refer to 32:18:1:1.

Malbim: There are three kinds of conduct. (a) Conduct at the time of creation. Then, You fixed laws of nature that do not change. Also refer to 32:18:1:2, 32:19:1:2.

Verses 14-15 imply that Hashem commanded him to buy the field to console Yisrael. It is a sign that they will return to here and buy houses and fields again! Why did Yirmeyah ask? The same answer is repeated below (verse 27, according to Radak there! - PF)

Why did he say "b'Chochacha ha'Gadol uvi'Zro'acha ha'Netuyah"?

Malbim: You created the word from nothingness with Your great strength. You sustain the world with Your outstretched arm; this is a constant creation. His arm is always outstretched to renew Ma'ase Bereishis every day. If the Creator's hand and Hashgachah would depart for a moment, the entire existence would cease!

What is the meaning of "Lo Yipalei"?

Rashi: Nothing is hidden from You. You knew that we will be exiled. Why did You tell me to buy the field? 1

Malbim: You can uproot, destroy and change nature, for if You remove Your hand from something, it ceases automatically.
