What is the difference between Besulah and Kalah?

1.

Radak: There is no difference. The matter is repeated in different words. A Kalah has ornaments only if she is Besulah; a Besulah has them only if she is a Kalah. Yisrael were like a Kalah at Ma'amad Har Sinai. How did you forget Me today, and for many years you have been following other gods?!

2.

Malbim: This verse addresses the group (refer to 2:31:1:2) that forgot Hashem. How did they forget their glory and honor?! Even if it would occur that a Besulah forgot her ornaments, would an Arusah forget what her Chasan gave to her for a sign of the Kesher (connection) between them, e.g. the Kidushin ring?! The Torah is the Kesher between you and Hashem. Due to it, He was Hashem to you. How did you forget this?!

Is there no number for days that Yisrael forgot Hashem?

1.

Radak: This is an exaggeration.
