Malbim: You know the Torah, but do not want to heed it.

Why does it say "you go in the freedom of your evil heart, not to heed Me"?

Malbim: For every Mitzvah, you seek claims and pretexts of heresy why you need not heed Me. Your fathers sinned amidst folly and error; your sin is amidst intellect and Mezid; you intend to rebel against Torah.
