Malbim: It says below (Perakim 42, 45) that Yisrael went to Egypt, and Yirmeyah wanted to return them from there, but they already were corrupted and did not want to hear his words. Nebuchadnetzar came via Pras and struck Pharaoh, and Yisrael perished with him.
