Presumably he means the ends of the Ulam, which stick out from the Heichal on the right and left. (PF)

2)

What are "mi'Yamin" and "mi'Smolo"?

1.

Rashi: To the right and left of the Bayis.

2.

Radak, 'Rashi' (Divrei ha'Yamim II, 4:6): To the right of Moshe's Kiyor, and to its left.

3)

The Yam was "mi'Kesef ha'Bayis ha'Ymanis" - where was this?

1.

Rashi: It was distanced from the south, in the north 1 , like it says "mi'Mul Negev". It was in the northeast corner, for it says also "Kedmah". It was opposite the space between the north wall of the Bayis and the [north] wall of the Azarah.

2.

Radak, 'Rashi' (Divrei ha'Yamim II, 4:10): It was in the south.
