Why does the Navi elaborate so much about Hadad's wife and son, and Pharaoh's fondness for him?

1.

Radak (15): Pharaoh did so much good for him - he married Pharaoh's wife's sister, and raised his son in Pharaoh's house among Pharaoh's sons. Even so, amidst his great hatred for Yisrael he abandoned all of this to avenge Yisrael. He, and Razon, were able to afflict Yisrael only in Shlomo's old age, due to the sin of his wives' idolatry and the Bamos that they built.
