Which day is discussed?
Rashi: After all this comes upon them, will come the day of Ge'ulah.
How will Hashem raise "Sukas David ha'Nofeles"?
Rashi citing Targum Yonasan: He will establish Malchus Beis David. Radak - because it said that Malchus Efrayim will be Batel, it says that Malchus Beis David will stand. It is called Sukah for a Mashal, since it covers (protects) the nation.
Malbim: Initially, Beis David was built and complete like a fixed house. It progressed among Bnei David from generation to generation. Afterwards, it was not a fixed house, only a haphazard Sukah - this was during Bayis Sheni, when Malchus Beis David ceased, and the Chashmona'im and Hurdus ruled. There still were Nesi'im from the seed of Beis David - this is like a haphazard Sukah. Afterwards, also Sukas David fell. In this Galus, also the Nesi'im ceased. There is no remembrance or Nesi'us to the seed of Beis David. Then, Hashem will stand it up. A man from Beis David will conduct the nation like the Nesi'im did. The sun will shine for David in three stages, like I explained in Yechezkel 34:23-24 - "Hu Yir'eh Osam v'Hu Yihyeh Lahen l'Ro'eh; va'Ani Hashem Ehyeh Lahem lEi'lokim v'David Avdi Nasi b'Socham." First the man from Beis David will conduct them and force them to do Mishpat and Tzedakah. This will raise Sukas David - Nesi'us from his seed. However, it is still a destroyed Sukah. Afterwards, Yisrael will accept Malchus Shamayim and accept his conduct willingly. They will accept him to be their shepherd.
To what do Pirtzeihen, Harisosav and Benisiha refer?
Radak: Pirtzeihen are breaches of Yisrael. Harisosav are [ruins] of the Klal, and Benisiha refers to the Sukah.
Malbim: Pirtzeihen are breaches of the generation. Via fencing these, I will raise their ruins - the Sukah will be complete, and not destroyed. Via accepting him to be the shepherd, Malchus Shamayim will be revealed - "va'Ani Hashem Ehyeh Lahem lEi'lokim", and then "v'David Avdi Nasi b'Socham." He will be Melech ha'Mashi'ach. Then it will not be a haphazard Sukah, rather, a fixed building, "U'Vnisiha ki'Ymei Olam" - it will be a fixed kingship, like beforehand.
