Rashi (3): From now and onwards, I took it 1 out to roam in the land and take vengeance against thieves and those who swear falsely.

Radak, Malbim: I took out the Alah (curse) mentioned in the previous verse. Metzudas David - I took out the Megilah.

What is the significance of lodging in his house?
1.
Radak: It will dwell in his house until it eradicates the house, its wood and stones. Malbim: This is because the thief accepted the curse on himself. Matters that fire and water do not eradicate, false oaths eradicate them (Shevatim 39a).
