'Rashi': It is the Mishmar of Kohanim who enter on Shabbos. Yehoyada detained also the leaving Mishmar ? verse 8.

Radak: These are those who guard Beis ha'Asufim mentioned above (Divrei ha'Yamim I, 26:15). It is a gate in the south of the Azarah.
