Why does it say "Dirshu Hashem v'Uzo"?

1.

Vilna Gaon: Who should seek Hashem? One who knows His Midos 1 and the Midos of the Torah, which is called Uzo. This is why it says after this "Bakshu Fanav."

2.

Malbim (Tehilim 105:4): Seeking is primary, and not finding. No one will grasp Hashem Himself, just one must seek His deeds; this is the purpose.

1

Hagahah from the Vilna Gaon's grandson: This correspond to Berachos 32a 'one should arrange Hashem's praise, and then pray (request).'

What is "Uzo"?

1.

'Rashi': The Mikdash and Aron are called Uzo ? "va'Yiten la'Shevi Uzo" (Tehilim 78:61). He let the Aron be captured, and it says "Kumah Hashem li'Mnusecha Atah va'Aron Uzecha" (ibid., 132:8). Elazar was called Uza, for he guarded the Aron, which is called Oz. We find [names connected to actions of the person, e.g.] the Gematriya of Efron is 400 (the amount he requested for Ma'aras ha'Machpelah), "Dan Yadin Amo", "Yehudah Yoducha Achecha" (Bereishis 49:16, 8).

2.

Radak (here and Tehilim 105:4): The Aron is called Oz ? "va'Yiten la'Shevi Uzo." Seek the Mishkan (dwelling place) of the Aron, and there pray in front of Him.

3)

What is the meaning of "Bakshu Fanav [Tamid]"?

1.

Radak (Tehilim 105:4): Pray in front of Him.

2.

Radak (Tehilim 105:4, citing Shocher Tov): To see the Shechinah in this world, engage in Torah in Eretz Yisrael. The Shechinah is there; there, Tefilah will be accepted quickly.

3.

Malbim (Tehilim 105:4): Whatever you will understand of Him, you will understand that you did not understand, and you must seek more ? "Yelchu me'Chayil El Chayil" (Tehilim 84:8).
