What do we learn from "v'Ish Navov Yilavev"?
Bava Basra 12b: Before one eats (he is hollow), he has two hearts (he is indecisive). After eating, he has only one heart.
Rashi: A hollow person 1 without a heart, who does not understand his way, he should acquire a heart, and repent! He should scrutinize his ways!
Malbim: If you will ask, is it proper that man was made hollow, without a heart that can understand the non-physical? Should not Hashem enable man to know this? Refer to 11:12:2:4.

What do we learn from "v'Ayir Pere Adam Yilaled"?
Rashi: A wild man without Da'as, who frequents the Midbar, should train himself to be a new man, like normal people.
Ibn Ezra: When man is born, he is like a baby donkey, and wild. R. Simchah Zissel - from this, a man must be born.
Devar Eliyahu: He is without Mitzvos. His purpose is to be born as a man (do Mitzvos) - "Sof Davar... v'Es Mitzvosav Shemor Ki Zeh Kol ha'Adam."
Malbim: Will you ask, why did Hashem make a young donkey wild, without intellect like a person? Surely, for every physical matter He gave a form proper for it. A donkey is not proper for intellect. So man's body is proper to understand via the senses, but not the non-physical. Just like a donkey cannot be born a man, man cannot have a heart to understand the non-physical.
