Rashi: They are piles. Targum Yonasan here is like Targum Onkelos of Chamarim (Shemos 8:10). Radak - this is like "va'Yitzbor Yosef" (Bereishis 41:49), "Im Yitzbor ke'Afar Kesef" (Iyov 27:16).
