SUMMARY

1. The Gemara discusses the law for a person who enters a house that has Tzara'as.

2. Most of the Halachos in the Torah that relate to eating involve food the size of a k'Zayis.

3. The honey referred to in the verse which depicts the unique species of Eretz Yisrael ("a land flowing with milk and honey") is date honey.

4. The Gemara discusses the number of knotted hairs that disqualify immersion in a Mikvah.

5. The Gemara discusses the Halachah l'Moshe mi'Sinai aspect of Chatzitzah.

A BIT MORE

1. If the person is holding his clothes and his jewelry in his hands when he enters, they become Tamei immediately, just as he becomes Tamei upon entry. If he is wearing his clothes and jewelry, they become Tamei only after he stays in the house for the amount of time that it takes to eat a loaf of wheat bread the size of a Pras.

2. This is alluded to by the word "olive" in the verse, "Eretz Zeis Shemen."

3. A person who eats food the size of a large date on Yom Kippur is liable to receive Kares.

4. Three hairs that were knotted together do not constitute a Chatzitzah, since water probably gets through them. If a person had one hair tied in a knot (and he is normally careful not to have that knot on his body), it constitutes a Chatzitzah, since water does not penetrate such a tight knot.

5. If most of one's hair (or body; see Tosfos) has dirt on it and he is careful that this normally should not be the case, it is a Chatzitzah according to Torah law. If only a small amount has dirt on it and he is careful about it, or if most has dirt and he is normally not careful about it, it is a Chatzitzah according mid'Rabanan.
