SUMMARY

1. The Gemara explains the meaning of "blemishes in the eyes" mentioned in the Mishnah (43b).
 
2. The Mishnah discusses many blemishes that are due to body parts being unusually large or small in proportion to the rest of the body.
 
3. The Mishnah discusses other assorted blemishes.
 
4. If one must urinate (and he cannot reach a bathroom), he should do so even if people are present.
 
5. There is a dispute in the Mishnah about the definition of the blemish "Mero'ach Ashech."

A BIT MORE

1. Some of these blemishes are: eyes abnormally high or low on the forehead, one eye high up and one eye low down, or eyes in the right place but one looks upwards and one looks downwards.
 
2. Included in this list are: very large or very small eyes, a large torso with small limbs or large limbs with a small torso, a very large or small nose in proportion to the rest of the body.
 
3. Included in this list are: a male whose breasts lie like those of a woman, one whose stomach is swollen, whose navel sticks out, and someone who has epilepsy.
 
4. Holding-in one's waste is dangerous.
 
5. Tana Kama: One who has one or no testicles. Rebbi Yishmael: One whose testicles have been smeared (i.e. flattened). One whose testicles appear inflated.
