SUMMARY

1. If an earthenware vessel which was used to cook Kodshim became Tamei after it was taken out of the Azarah, one must puncture a hole the size of a small root in it. He then brings it back into the Azarah in order to fulfill the Mitzvah of breaking it.
 
2. A metal vessel which was used to cook Kodshim that was taken out of the Azarah and then became Tamei must be punctured with a hole the size of a small root, and then brought back into the Azarah in order to rinse it inside and outside.
 
3. If the blood of a Chatas splattered on the Me'il of a Kohen Gadol, and it was taken out of the Azarah and then became Tamei, it must be brought back into the Azarah less than the size of three fingerwidths by three fingerwidths in order fulfill the Mitzvah of washing it in the Azarah.
 
4. Very thick or very thin garments are not susceptible to Tum'ah, even if they are the size of three fingerwidths by three fingerwidths.
 
5. The blood of a Chatas which splatters on a garment, and a Nega which appears on a garment, must be washed with seven cleaning agents in a specific order.
 
6. Each one of the cleaning agents must include some saliva from a person who ate nothing from the time that he woke up in the morning.
 
7. If a metal vessel was used to cook Kodshim, or if hot Kodshim were placed in it, the vessel must be rinsed inside and outside in the Azarah.
 
8. If a metal vessel was used to cook Kodshim Kalim, there is a disagreement about whether it must be washed inside and outside.
 
9. The oven in the Beis ha'Mikdash was made from metal and not from earthenware.
 
10. If a spit is used to suspend Kodshim in an oven in order to cook it, there is a doubt about whether the oven must be rinsed inside and outside.
 
11. One may not knead dough with milk. If he did so, the bread is forbidden because of the concern that one may inadvertently sin with it.
 
12. If an oven is coated with meat fat, it may not be used to bake bread unless it is heated up and then cooled own.
 
13. Rav says that earthenware pots must be broken before Pesach.

A BIT MORE

1. An earthenware vessel which has a puncture hole the size of a small root is Tahor, and therefore it may be brought back into the Azarah. It still has the status of a vessel since it is suitable as a container for olives, and thus the Mitzvah of breaking it applies.
 
2. A metal vessel with a large perforation is Tahor, and it may be brought back into the Azarah. However, it must be repaired by hammering it until the perforation is closed up, because otherwise it is not considered a vessel and the Mitzvah of rinsing it would not apply.
 
3. It is forbidden to rip the Me'il of the Kohen Gadol. Therefore, ripping it in order to purify it from the Tum'ah is not an option. Instead, less than the size of three by three fingerwidths of the Me'il should be brought into the Azarah, because this is less than the Shi'ur for Tum'ah.
 
4. Since this type of material is not used for clothing but for sitting, it is not susceptible to Tum'ah unless it is at least three Tefachim by three Tefachim, because anything less than that size serves no purpose .
 
5. Each cleaning agent must be rubbed on three times. If the seven agents are applied at the same time or in the wrong order, nothing has been accomplished.
 
6. Consequently, even though urine is one of the seven agents and it is forbidden to bring urine in the Azarah, since it is mixed with saliva it is permitted.
 
7. Even if the Kodshim were not cooked in the vessel, since they were placed in the vessel while hot and the Kodshim became absorbed in the vessel, it must be rinsed out, because the taste of the Kodshim in the vessel becomes Nosar and will be expelled into the next item cooked in the vessel.
 
8. According to the Tana Kama, a metal vessel which was used to cook Kodshim Kalim must be rinsed. According to Rebbi Shimon, only if Kodshei Kodashim were cooked in the metal vessel must it be rinsed, but not if Kodshim Kalim were cooked in it.
 
9. The oven in the Beis ha'Mikdash was not made from earthenware because the Menachos were baked in it. Since the oil from the Menachos become absorbed in the oven, it would have to be broken after every use.
 
10. Since the oven did not absorb from the Kodshim, perhaps it is not necessary to rinse it. On the other hand, perhaps a Gezeiras ha'Kasuv requires that any vessel which is used to cook Kodshim must be rinsed even if nothing was absorbed in it.
 
11. There is a concern that one will forgot that the bread contains milk, and he might eat it with meat.
 
12. Bread may not be baked in a meat oven because of the concern that the bread will be eaten with milk.
 
13. According to Rav, it is forbidden to benefit from even a minute amount of Chametz after Pesach. If the pot is used for cooking after Pesach, the Chametz which is absorbed in the pot will be expelled into the food.
