A BIT MORE
1. Beis Shamai: Even if the woman immerses at night, if she has relations with her husband he becomes Tamei and they must bring a Korban Chatas. Beis Hillel: Since she cannot become a Zavah, the woman is not considered a Shomeres Yom. They therefore do not have to bring a Korban Chatas, even though he becomes Tamei due to a Rabbinic decree. 2. Beis Shamai: Since she did wait a partial day, they do not have to bring a Korban Chatas, but they are Tamei due to a Rabbinic decree. Beis Hillel: Immersing at that time is inappropriate, but they do not have to bring a Korban and they are not Tamei. 3. This is because she might still see blood on that day and the next, and retroactively become a Zavah Gedolah. Therefore, if they had relations, they both must wait and see if she indeed becomes a Zavah Gedolah, and if she does they must bring a Korban (and any Taharos she handled will be declared Tamei). 4. Beis Shamai: He is like a Shomeres Yom, and therefore he should not handle Taharos even after he immerses. Beis Hillel: Once he immerses he may handle Taharos just like a Ba'al Keri after immersion. 5. They are: A half-Lug of oil is brought as a libation for a Korban Todah, a Revi'is of wine is brought as a libation for a Nazir, and there are eleven days of Zivah between a Nidah cycle and the next Nidah cycle.
