SUMMARY
1. There is a dispute about handling a candelabra on Shabbos. 2. Rebbi Meir: any candelabra may be carried as long as it did not contain a candle on Shabbos. 3. Rebbi Zeira discusses the common ground among all of these opinions (#1, 2). 4. Rav Yehudah says that it is forbidden to carry a bed that was set aside to hold money, if money was already put on it. 5. If a Mukztah item was purposely placed on a permitted item and it remained there during Bein ha'Shemashos, the permitted item is Muktzah.

A BIT MORE
1. Tana Kama: One is allowed to carry a new candelabra but not an old one. The new one can be used for many permitted purposes, but the old one will not be used because it is disgusting, and therefore it is Muktzah Machmas Mi'us. Rebbi Shimon: All candelabras may be handled except for one that contains a lit candle. 2. Rebbi Meir maintains that there is a prohibition of Muktzah Machmas Isur, but he does not maintain that there is a prohibition of Muktzah Machmas Mi'us. Rebbi Shimon (see #1 above), who maintains that there also is no prohibition of Muktzah Machmas Isur, does not allow carrying a lit candle because it might go out. 3. Rebbi Zeira says that everyone agrees that carrying a metal candelabra which is not disgusting should be permitted if it did not contain a lit candle. Similarly, everyone agrees that if it held a lit candle, it may not be carried. Rebbi Shimon disagrees and says that if the candle is no longer lit, it is permitted. 4. However, if money was not actually put on it yet but it was merely set aside for this purpose, it may be carried. 5. This is called a "Basis l'Davar ha'Asur" -- "a base for a forbidden item." Accordingly, if money was purposely placed on a bed and remained there during Bein ha'Shemashos, the bed becomes a Basis even if it generally is not used to hold money.
