SUMMARY
1. The strings of the Tzitzis have no maximum length. However, they must hang loose for a minimum of four fingerbreadths according to Rav Huna, or three fingerbreadths according to Rav Yehudah. 2. The Lulav has no maximum length. However, the Lulav must be a minimum length of three Tefachim. 3. According to the Tana Kama, Tzitzis may be inserted into the edge of the corner, or on the outer rim, of the garment. Rebbi Eliezer ben Yakov disagrees. 4. Tzitzis should be attached to the garment at some distance away from the edge of the garment. This distance is at least the length from the top of the thumb to the middle joint, but not more than three fingerbreadths from the edge. 5. Rav says that no blessing is recited when one attaches Tzitzis to a garment. 6. If a Jewish Mohel is not available and only a Nochri and Kusi are available, one should have the Nochri perform the Milah, according to Rebbi Meir. Rebbi Yehudah says that the Kusi should perform the Milah. 7. A Mohel must recite a blessing immediately prior to the Bris Milah. 8. A Sukah made by a Nochri, or for a purpose other than for the Mitzvah, is valid. 9. When one makes a Sukah for himself, he should recite the blessing of "Shehecheyanu." When he sits in the Sukah at the onset of Yom Tov, he should recite the blessing of "Leishev b'Sukah." 10. A Sefer Torah, Tefilin, or Mezuzah written by anyone other than a male Yisrael who believes in the Mitzvah is Pasul. 11. There is a disagreement about whether the strings used for Tzitzis must be spun Lishmah, and whether the hide used to house the Parshiyos of Tefilin must be processed Lishmah. 12. The Techeles must be applied to the Tzitzis Lishmah. 13. If a portion of the Techeles was used for a test to see if it dyes properly, the remaining dye is Pasul, according to Rebbi Chanina ben Gamliel. Rebbi Yochanan ben Dehavai disagrees.

A BIT MORE
1. However, if one of the strings partially snaps off, it is valid even if it hangs loose for less than four or three fingerbreadths. 2. The Lulav must protrude above the Hadasim and Aravos at least one Tefach. 3. According to Rebbi Eliezer ben Yakov, the Tzitzis should not be inserted at the edge of the garment, because the Tzitzis should hang over the corner. 4. This is in accordance with the opinion of Rebbi Eliezer ben Yakov, who says that the Tzitzis may not be attached too close to the edge of the garment. 5. According to Rav, there is no obligation to attach Tzitzis to a garment that is not being worn. Therefore, attaching the Tzitzis to a garment is not the completion of the Mitzvah, and no blessing is recited. 6. According to Rav and Rebbi Yochanan, a Milah done by a Nochri is Pasul. 7. Since the act of performing a Bris Milah is the completion of the Mitzvah, a blessing is recited. 8. Any type of Sukah is valid, as long proper Sechach was placed on it for the purpose of providing shade. 9. However, the blessing of "la'Asos Sukah" should not be recited upon the construction of the Sukah, since it is not the completion of the Mitzvah. 10. If a Tzeduki, Kusi, Nochri, Eved, Ishah, Katan, or Mumar writes a Sefer Torah, Tefilin, or Mezuzah, it is Pasul. 11. According to the Tana Kama, if the hide of a Kosher animal is used for the Batim of Tefilin, it is valid, even if it was not processed Lishmah. Raban Shimon ben Gamliel maintains that it must be processed Lishmah. 12. If the Techeles was applied as a test to see if it dyes properly, it is Pasul. 13. According to Rebbi Yochanan ben Dehavai, the remaining dye may be used to dye Tzitzis.
