SUMMARY

1. If the Kemitzah of a Minchah was done she'Lo Lishmah, it is valid, but the owner does not fulfill his obligation.

2. A Minchas Chotei and Minchas Kena'os are exceptions. If their Kemitzah was done she'Lo Lishmah, they are Pasul.

3. If the Kemitzah of a Minchas Chotei or Minchas Kena'os was done Lishmah and she'Lo Lishmah, or she'Lo Lishmah and Lishmah, it is Pasul.

4. If the Kemitzah of a Minchas Chotei or a Minchas Kena'os was done she'Lo Lishmah, or it was placed in a Kli, brought to the Mizbe'ach, or burned on the Mizbe'ach she'Lo Lishmah, it is Pasul.

5. If an Olah was slaughtered she'Lo Lishmah, it is forbidden to sprinkle the blood she'Lo Lishmah.

6. Rebbi Shimon says that if the Kemitzah of any of the Menachos was done she'Lo Lishmah, it is valid. The owner fulfills his obligation, because if one does Kemitzah to a Minchas Machavas l'Shem Marcheshes, it is readily apparent that it is a Minchas Machavas.

7. Rebbi Shimon agrees that a Korban which is slaughtered she'Lo Lishmah, or the blood is received or placed on the Mizbe'ach she'Lo Lishmah, is Pasul, because the type of Korban is not readily apparent.

8. Rav Ashi says that even according to Rebbi Shimon, if the Kohen says that he is doing the Kemitzah of a Minchas Machavas l'Shem Minchas Marcheshes, the owner does not fulfill his obligation.

9. Rabah says that even according to Rebbi Shimon, if the Kohen says that he is doing the Kemitzah of a Minchah of Reuven l'Shem Shimon, the owner does not fulfill his obligation.

10. Rava says that even according to Rebbi Shimon, if the Kohen says that he is doing the Kemitzah of a Minchas Machavas l'Shem Zevach, the owner does not fulfill his obligation.

A BIT MORE

1. For example, if the owner made a Neder to bring a Minchas Marcheshes, and the Kohen did the Kemitzah l'Shem Minchas Machavas, the Minchah is valid. The Kemitzah is burned on the Mizbe'ach and the Shirayim are eaten by the Kohanim, but the owner must bring another Minchah to fulfill his Neder.

2. A Minchas Chotei is brought for Tum'as Mikdash or Tum'as Kodesh by a poor person who cannot afford to bring an animal or bird offering. A Minchas Kena'os is brought by a Sotah who underwent Kinuy and Setirah.

3. "Lishmah and she'Lo Lishmah" refers to when the Kemitzah was done l'Shem Minchas Chotei and l'Shem Minchas Nedavah. "She'Lo Lishmah and Lishmah" refers to when the Kemitzah was done l'Shem Minchas Nedavah and l'Shem Minchas Chotei.

4. If any of these Avodos was done Lishmah and she'Lo Lishmah, or she'Lo Lishmah and Lishmah, it is also Pasul.

5. Since an Olah which was slaughtered she'Lo Lishmah is valid, the owner does not fulfill his obligation. All of the remaining Avodos must be done Lishmah.

6. Even if the Kohen does the Kemitzah of a Minchas Chotei she'Lo Lishmah, it is valid according to Rebbi Shimon, because if the Kemitzah of a Minchas Chotei which lacks oil is done l'Shem a Minchas Nedavah which contains oil, it is readily apparent that it is a Minchas Chotei.

7. The blood of some Korbanos are placed on the Mizbe'ach once, and the blood of other Korbanos are placed on the Mizbe'ach four times. However, b'Di'eved, every Korban is valid if the blood is placed on the Mizbe'ach once.

8. Rebbi Shimon says that the owner fulfills his obligation when the Kohen says that he is doing the Kemitzah of a Machavas l'Shem Marcheshes, without mentioning the term "Minchah." Since the Kohen mentioned only the name of the vessel without mentioning the term "Minchah," his words are meaningless.

9. The Kemitzah of a Minchah done for someone other than the owner is considered she'Lo Lishmah, and the owner does not fulfill his obligation, even according to Rebbi Shimon.

10. Rebbi Shimon maintains that if the Kohen says that he is doing the Kemitzah of a Minchas Machavas l'Shem Marcheshes, the owner fulfills his obligation. However, if he says that it is l'Shem Olah, the owner does not fulfill his obligation.
