SUMMARY
1. Rava: Nowadays, eating Matzah is a Torah Mitzvah, but eating Maror is mid'Rabanan. 2. Rav Acha: Even the Mitzvah of Matzah nowadays is mid'Rabanan. 3. The Beraisa supports the position of Rava. 4. If all of the people in the group eating the Korban Pesach fell asleep before they finished eating the Korban, they may not resume eating it when they wake up. 5. A BIT MORE
1. The Torah Mitzvah to eat Maror applies only when one eats Maror together with the Korban Pesach. Nowadays, when there is no Korban Pesach, the Mitzvah to eat Maror is mid'Rabanan. 2. Even though the Torah teaches the Mitzvah to eat Matzah separately from the Mitzvah to eat the Korban Pesach, this does not mean that the Mitzvah to eat Matzah is mid'Oraisa even when there is no Korban Pesach. Rather, it is meant to teach that -- when the Beis ha'Mikdash is standing -- even people who may not eat the Korban Pesach must eat Matzah. 3. The Beraisa states that it is a Torah obligation to eat Matzah on the first night of Pesach, even when the Beis ha'Mikdash is not standing. 4. This is because it appears as though they are eating their Korban Pesach in two different places. However, if only some of the people fell asleep, even those who fell asleep may continue eating the Korban Pesach when they wake up. 5. Rebbi Akiva: One may eat the Korban Pesach until morning. Rebbi Elazar ben Azaryah: One may eat it only until midnight.
