1. They correspond to the 26 generations during which Hashem sustained the world before Bnei Yisrael received the Torah.
2. This refers to Hashem bestowing possessions upon us and then taking them away to atone for our sins, sparing our bodies from affliction.
3. Others liken it to a miracle greater than the miracle of the redemption.
4. This is derived from the verse that states that one should not make idols and immediately afterwards states that one should observe Pesach ("for seven days...").
5. Hashem therefore had the sea spit out the dead bodies of the Egyptians so that Bnei Yisrael would clearly see that they were dead.
