SUMMARY
1. One who offers a Korban outside the Azarah is Chayav Kares, whether the Korban was slaughtered inside or outside the Azarah, according to the Chachamim. 2. There are 36 Mitzvos in the Torah which are punishable with Kares. 3. One who sprinkles the blood of a Korban outside the Azarah is Chayav. 4. One slaughters a Korban outside the Azarah. If he offers only a portion of the Korban outside the Azarah, he is Patur. When one slaughters the Korban inside the Azarah, there is a disagreement about whether one is liable for offering only a portion of a Korban outside the Azarah. 5. If one slaughters an Olas ha'Of or Chatas ha'Of outside the Azarah, he is Chayav. There is no Chiyuv for Melikah outside the Azarah. 6. One who performs the Kemitzah of a Minchah, or receives the blood of a Korban, outside the Azarah is Patur. 7. If one slaughters and sprinkles the blood of a Korban outside the Azarah, he is Chayav once according to Rebbi Yishmael, and twice according to Rebbi Akiva. Abaye says that even according to Rebbi Akiva he is Chayav only once. 8. If one sprinkles the blood and offers a Korban outside the Azarah, he is Chayav twice, according to Rebbi Yishmael, and once according to Rebbi Akiva. Abaye says that even according to Rebbi Akiva he is Chayav twice. 9. Slaughtering an Olah in the south of the Azarah is not the same as slaughtering outside the Azarah, and one is not Chayav for it. 10. Ula says that if one slaughters a Korban on the roof of the Heichal, he is Chayav for Shechitah outside the Azarah. Rava disagrees. 11. If the majority of a Korban is inside the Azarah but the neck is outside the Azarah, or if the neck is inside the Azarah and the majority of the animal is outside the Azarah, the one who slaughters the animal is Chayav. 12. One who offers a Korban outside the place of the Azarah nowadays is Chayav according to Rebbi Yochanan. Reish Lakish disagrees. 13. One offers less than an olive's size of a Korban outside the Azarah, but the bone completes the Shi'ur to make it the size of an olive. Rebbi Yochanan says that he is Chayav, and Reish Lakish says that he is not Chayav.

A BIT MORE
1. However, Rebbi Yosi ha'Glili maintains that since a Korban slaughtered outside the Azarah is not fit to be brought on the Mizbe'ach, there is no Chiyuv for offering it outside the Azarah. 2. One who transgresses all 36 Mitzvos without being aware in the interim that he sinned, must bring a separate Chatas for each one. 3. Even if he sprinkles the blood outside the Azarah only once, he is Chayav, because if the blood of a Korban is placed on the Mizbe'ach only once, the Korban is valid b'Di'eved. 4. According to Rebbi Yishmael, even though one slaughtered the Korban inside the Azarah, he is Patur for bringing only a portion of the Korban outside the Azarah. According to Rebbi Akiva, he is Chayav, because limbs which fall off the Mizbe'ach are returned to the Mizbe'ach even though the limbs are no longer whole. Accordingly, one is Chayav for bringing a portion of a Korban outside the Azarah. 5. Although Melikah, and not Shechitah, is done in the Beis ha'Mikdash to an Olas ha'Of and Chatas ha'Of, a Gezeiras ha'Kasuv teaches that one is Chayav for Shechitah outside the Azarah, and not for Melikah outside the Azarah. 6. The Chiyuv for performing these Avodos outside the Azarah may be derived through a Tzad ha'Shaveh from Shechitah and Zerikah. When the Torah states that there is a Chiyuv for Zerikah, even though it could have been derived from a Tzad ha'Shaveh, it teaches that a Tzad ha'Shaveh is not to be used to create a Chiyuv for one of the Avodos not mentioned in the Torah. 7. Rebbi Yishmael derives the Chiyuv for sprinkling the blood from a verse in the Torah regarding Shechitah, and therefore it is not a separate Chiyuv from Shechitah. Rebbi Akiva deduces the Chiyuv for sprinkling the blood from a verse in the Torah regarding bringing the Korban. Therefore, it is a separate Chiyuv from Shechitah. Abaye says that a Gezeiras ha'Kasuv teaches that there is only one Chiyuv, even according to Rebbi Akiva. 8. However, if one slaughters a Korban, sprinkles its blood, and offers it outside the Azarah, everyone agrees that he is Chayav twice. 9. An Olah is Kodshei Kodashim and must be slaughtered in the north of the Azarah. However, if it is slaughtered in the south of the Azarah, it is not the same as being slaughtered outside the Azarah, since the south of the Azarah is valid for the Shechitah of Kodshim Kalim. 10. According to Rava, since the Korban was brought into the Azarah in order to be taken up to the roof of the Heichal, there is no Chiyuv for slaughtering it on the roof of the Heichal. 11. A Korban must be entirely inside the Azarah at the time of the Shechitah. 12. According to Rebbi Yochanan, the sanctity of Yerushalayim and the Beis ha'Mikdash is eternal. Consequently, even nowadays the prohibition against slaughtering a Korban outside the Azarah applies. According to Reish Lakish, the sanctity of Yerushalayim and the Beis ha'Mikdash terminated with the destruction of the Beis ha'Mikdash. 13. According to Rebbi Yochanan, since the bones of the Korban are brought on the Mizbe'ach while they are still attached to the Korban, they count toward the Shi'ur of a k'Zayis. According to Reish Lakish, since the bones are not brought on the Mizbe'ach if they become detached from the Korban, they do not count toward the Shi'ur of a k'Zayis.
