SUMMARY
1. There is a dispute about the contents of the Havdalah blessing prior to its conclusion with "Baruch Atah Hashem.."
2. The Gemara explains that a difference between these two opinions (#1) arises when Yom Tov falls on Motza'i Shabbos.
3. Rebbi Menachem the son of Rebbi Simai was called "the son of the holy ones."
4. There is a dispute in the Gemara regarding the appropriate text for Havdalah.
5. The Gemara concludes that the blessing should end with, "Ha'Mavdil Bein Kodesh l'Chol," as is our custom.

A BIT MORE
1. Shmuel: Its content must be similar to the words of the concluding blessing (i.e. what is said after the closing blessing of "Baruch Atah"). Scholars of Pumbedisa: Its content must be similar to the words at the opening of the blessing.
2. According to Shmuel, since the blessing ends with "ha'Mavdil Bein Kodesh l'Kodesh," one must say the words, "Bein Kedushas Shabbos l'Vein Kedushas Yom Tov Hivdalta," just before the concluding blessing. According to the scholars of Pumbedisa, this addition is unnecessary.
3. We was so called because he did not look at any coins that had raised images. Since his father was similarly holy, he was called "the son of the holy ones."
4. For example, there are opinions that include in the text the differences "between Tahor and Tamei, and between Kohanim, Leviyim, and Yisraelim." There is also an opinion that the blessing should end with "Baruch Soder Bereishis."
5. Even though Rebbi Yehoshua ben Chananya says that whoever ends Havdalah by saying "Mekadesh Yisrael veha'Mavdil.." merits a long life, the Gemara says that we do not rule this way.
