SUMMARY
Rebbi Akiva had 24,000 students after he learned for 24 years in the Beis ha'Midrash. Rebbi Akiva told his students that both his Torah and their Torah is credited to his wife. The daughter of Rebbi Akiva sent away her husband, Ben Azai, to learn Torah in a similar manner in which her mother did with Rebbi Akiva. If a woman rebels against her husband, her Kesuvah is subtracted by seven Dinarin per week. (1) Rebbi Yosi: Not only is the Kesuvah of a rebellious woman subtracted, but even property that she inherited is subtracted. If a husband rebels against his wife, three Dinarin are added to the Kesuvah every week. (2) If a husband says that he will not feed or support his wife, he must divorce her and give her the Kesuvah. (3) The Kesuvah of a rebellious woman is subtracted even if she is ill, and even if she is an Arusah, Shomeres Yavam, or Nidah. (4) Everyone agrees that a woman who rebels in marital relations is regarded as a Moredes and we subtract from her Kesuvah. Rav Huna: A woman who rebels in Melachah is not regarded as a Moredes. Rebbi Yosi bar Chanina: She is regarded as a Moredes. The Rabanan decided that if a woman rebels, her Kesuvah is not subtracted little by little, but rather she loses it all at one time if she maintains her rebellion for four weeks. According to the Rabanan, if a woman rebels, Beis Din announces it four consecutive Shabbosos, and Beis Din notifies her that even if her Kesuvah is 100 Maneh she will lost it all. (5) Ameimar: If a woman says that she finds her husband repulsive, we do not force her to stay with her husband. Mar Zutra: We do force her to stay with her husband. (6) Rava was in doubt about whether a wife who rebels loses the clothing that she brought into the marriage in her dowry.
A BIT MORE
1. Rebbi Yehudah: Her Kesuvah is subtracted by seven Trafikin a week. 2. Rebbi Yehudah: Three Trafikin are added to the Kesuvah every week. 3. However, he does not need to divorce her immediately; we give him a chance to change his mind. 4. Even though a Nidah cannot have marital relations, since -- when she becomes Tahor -- she will not be available for her husband, she is regarded as a Moredes. 5. The announcement is made in the Beis ha'Keneses and Beis ha'Midrash. The Beis Din notifies her once prior to the announcement and once after the announcement. 6. According to Ameimar, we instruct the husband to divorce her, but she does not receive a Kesuvah.

BRIEF INSIGHT
A REBELLIOUS WOMAN Rav Huna maintains that a woman who rebels in Melachah is not regarded as a Moredes, but Rebbi Yosi bar Chanina disagrees. Tosfos explains that Rav Huna's reason for why a woman is not regarded as a Moredes when she refuses to do Melachah is that he maintains that a woman has the right to tell her husband, "I am forfeiting my right to food and I am keeping my handiwork." In contrast, Rebbi Yosi bar Chanina rules like Reish Lakish, who maintains that a woman does not have the right to tell her husband, "I am forfeiting my right to food and I am keeping my handiwork."
QUICK HALACHAH
A woman who refuses to have marital relations with her husband is regarded as a Moredes. We ask her for the reason why she is acting in this manner, and if she says, "I cannot take him and it is impossible for me to willingly have marital relations with him," then if the husband chooses to divorce her she does not receive her Kesuvah at all. However, if she says, "I want to hurt my husband because he cursed me, or started a fight with me," or she gives any other similar reason, Beis Din sends a message to her, saying that she should know that if she continues rebelling against the husband she will lose her entire Kesuvah, even if it is 100 Maneh. (Shulchan Aruch EH 77:2)
