A BIT MORE
1. The Gemara explains that this prohibition is because of the Shin on the outside of the Batim of the Tefilin, which is a Halachah l'Moshe mi'Sinai. The Dalet and Yud of the Tefilin (formed by the straps of the Tefilin) are also a Halachah l'Moshe mi'Sinai. 2. Rebbi Meir maintains that the Mitzvah of Tefilin applies both at night and on Shabbos. Accordingly, women are obligated in Tefilin according to Rebbi Meir (who is a minority opinion in this matter). 3. The Gemara concludes that the mainstream opinion prohibited only certain things that were both pleasurable and done on joyous occasions. 4. The Gemara understands that this is the meaning of the verse, "Those who sleep on beds of marble and are disgusting on their beds." 5. Rebbi Yitzchak understands that the verse, "And with their feet they angered," refers to women who used to have vials of perfume in their shoes. They enticed men by stomping on their shoes when men were nearby.
