1. The Kohanim stand guard in Beis Avtinas, Beis ha'Nitzutz, and the Beis ha'Moked. 2. The two Sha'arei Chuldah in the south, Sha'ar Kipunus in the west, and the Sha'ar Mizrachi served for entering and leaving. Sha'ar Tedi in the north was not used at all. 3. There were three in the north (Sha'ar ha'Nitzotz, Sha'ar ha'Korban, Beis ha'Moked), three in the south (Sha'ar ha'Delek, Sha'ar ha'Korban, and Sha'ar ha'Mayim), and one in the east (Sha'ar Nikanor). 4. Most of the area is on the southern part of Har ha'Bayis. 5. One generally would enter on the right-hand side and exit on the left-hand side.
