SUMMARY
1. If a guard in the Beis ha'Mikdash fell asleep, the person in charge would be allowed to burn his clothes.
2. Rebbi: A person who wants to go on the straight path should love and accept rebuke.
3. Rebbi Yonasan: Whoever rebukes with pure intent will merit being with Hashem.
4. The Mishnah describes the taking of the Terumas ha'Deshen.
5. The first Korban brought every day was the Korban Tamid.

A BIT MORE
1. Rebbi Yochanan: This shows how great the earlier generations were. If they were held accountable for falling asleep, which is very difficult to control when one is tired, then certainly they were accountable for actions that were within their control.
2. This is as the verse states, "And it will be pleasant for those who accept rebuke, and on them will come good blessings."
3. Moreover, he will have a "string of Chesed" placed upon him (i.e. people will appreciate him).
4. The Kohen would take a silver pan and ascend to the top of the Mizbe'ach where he would part the pile of ashes, and proceed to take a pan full of ashes from the inner part of the pile.
5. The Mishnah states that they would tell those preparing the Minchas Chavitin of the Kohen Gadol to start making it before the bringing of the Tamid. Rav Yehudah explains that this means that they should heat up the water in order to prepare it, but not that they should actually offer it before the Tamid.
