SUMMARY
1. The Mishnah presents a general rule about when it is forbidden to hunt an animal in order to eat it on Yom Tov.
2. Shmuel explains the point at which a bird is considered captured, even though it is said about them, "Let us bring a net and capture them."
3. Rav Bibi offers a different explanation about the birds (#2).
4. There is a dispute about whether an animal found in a net that was spread out before Yom Tov may be taken on Yom Tov.
5. One may not accept a present of fruit from a Nochri on Yom Tov if it is possible that the fruit was picked for the Jew on that day.

A BIT MORE
1. If the animal still requires capturing, even if it is in a smaller area than usual, capturing is forbidden because of the Melachah of Tzad. If it is already considered captured, then one may take it and slaughter it on Yom Tov.
2. If the bird enters its coop at night and depends on a person for its food, it is considered captured even though people say, "Let us bring a net...." Since it can be easily captured in its coop at night, it is considered captured even during the day.
3. If a bird is easily chased down in a coop or pen and it is hard for it to avoid being captured, it is considered already captured. If it can easily avoid capture even in its pen, it is not considered captured.
4. If the animal was trapped before Yom Tov, it is permitted, but if it was trapped on Yom Tov, it is forbidden. When there is a doubt about when it was trapped, Rebbi Yehoshua forbids its use on Yom Tov, while Raban Gamliel permits its use.
5. Accordingly, if there are no fruit trees of this type in this area, the Jew is permitted to accept the fruit, since the Nochri certainly did not pick it for the Jew on Yom Tov.
