A BIT MORE
1. Rebbi Eliezer says that if Bikurim are halfway outside the Azarah and halfway inside the Azarah, the part that is outside is regarded as Chulin and the part that is inside is regarded as Hekdesh. 2. According to some opinions, the Bikurim may not be eaten until the Parshah of Bikurim has been read. Others say that it may be eaten as soon as it is brought into the Azarah, even before it is placed in front of the Mizbe'ach. 3. A Ger cannot recite, "Hashem swore to our fathers." Therefore, he may not read the Parshah of Bikurim at all. 4. According to this opinion, the Kedushah of the Beis ha'Mikdash was not rescinded with its destruction. Therefore, Korbanos may be offered even though the Beis ha'Mikdash no longer stands. Ma'aser Sheni may be eaten in Yerushalayim, even though there no longer is a wall around the city. 5. Therefore, even if the Bechor was brought and the blood sprinkled prior to the destruction of the Beis ha'Mikdash, the flesh of the Korban may not be eaten after the Beis ha'Mikdash was destroyed. 6. He is Chayav Malkus, whether he is Tamei or the Ma'aser Sheni is Tamei. 7. Ma'aser Sheni generally may be redeemed only outside of Yerushalayim. Nevertheless, if the Ma'aser Sheni is Tamei and may not be eaten, it may be redeemed even inside Yerushalayim. 8. If the Ma'aser Sheni is inside the walls of Yerushalayim while the person who is holding it is outside the walls, or vice versa, it may no longer be redeemed. However, if the person is inside the walls and the Ma'aser Sheni is suspended from a long pole that he is holding outside the walls, it is a Safek if the Ma'aser Sheni may be redeemed. 9. One is punished with Malkus for eating Ma'aser Sheni outside of Yerushalayim only if the Ma'aser was first brought into Yerushalayim, where one is permitted to eat it, and then it was brought outside the walls of Yerushalayim.
