A BIT MORE
1. Acherim say that if the Kohen Gadol is not wealthy, his fellow Kohanim must make him wealthy. 2. According to Rebbi Yirmeyah, a Nasi is exempt from a Korban Oleh v'Yored because of his wealth. That does not change when he becomes a Metzora. 3. Rebbi Akiva maintains that instead of a Korban Oleh v'Yored, the Kohen Gadol brings a Par. 4. Shevu'as ha'Edus does not apply to a Nasi because he has the status of a king and he may not give testimony. A Nasi brings a Korban Oleh v'Yored for a Shevu'as Bituy, and for entering the Beis ha'Mikdash or eating Kodesh in a state of Tum'ah, according to Rebbi Akiva. 5. A Se'irah is brought as a Korban Chatas for the Aveirah of Avodah Zarah. The exception is the Beis Din, which brings a Par as an Olah and a Sa'ir as a Chatas. 6. An individual, a Nasi, and a Kohen Gadol bring an Asham Vaday. Beis Din is exempt. 7. A Kohen Gadol does not bring a Korban Oleh v'Yored for entering the Beis ha'Mikdash or eating Kodesh in a state of Tum'ah. A Nasi does not bring a Korban Oleh v'Yored for Shevu'as ha'Edus. 8. Rebbi Shimon agrees with Rebbi Akiva that a Kohen Gadol does not bring a Minchah for Dalei Dalus. He disagrees with Rebbi Akiva's opinion that since he does not bring a Minchah, he is exempt completely from a Korban Oleh v'Yored. 9. The Nasi brings a Sa'ir only for entering the Beis ha'Mikdash or eating Kodesh in a state of Tum'ah. It is an Aveirah that is punished with Kares. He does not bring a Sa'ir for Shevu'as Bituy or Shevu'as ha'Edus because it is not punished with Kares. 10. If they sinned after they stepped down from their positions, the Kohen Gadol brings a Par, while the Nasi brings a Kisbah or Se'irah like a commoner.
