I am doing the daf yomi and in today's daf the issue of a leida in zava guedola came up again. I don't see how during the pregnancy a women can see dam nidda and certainly if she sees 3 days an a row we are dealing with a disease. didn't the mishna pasken that a pregnant women, nusing wormen, kettana and zekena have a hezkat tahora?
Let me know if the answer lies in the fact that during pregnancy the women will count her days based on her vesset and potentially assign nidda days etc. Even if she does not see dam?
Thanks
The Gemara means the opposite. The pregnant woman has a Chezkas Taharah as long as she does not see Dam. Even if we assume that in general a woman sees on the day of her Veses, a pregnant woman does not. However, if she actually does see Dam, she becomes Tamei. It indeed may be a sickness or the onset of birth but nevertheless (as long as she is not in labor) she is still Tamei.

But How can she be a zava gedola if she is not subjected to the 11 day (given that according to what you say she has not connection to nidda during her pregnancy). Please advise

Mehila mekvodkha But since during her preganacy she has
1. hazkat tahara
2. even if she sees dam its no dam nidda How can she be a zava guedola
Thanks for all
Chezkas Taharah only tells us that if she did not actually see, we are not Choshesh that she saw (even at the time of the Veses). However, it is not Metaher Dam if she actually saw.
