Any type of standard undergarment is acceptable, because the manufacturers specifically construct the garment to maximize ordinary comfort, which would preclude undesirable friction. (In contrast, undergarments specfically designed as "intimate-wear" that is constructed to arouse the man's libidinal urges would apparently not be permitted.)
